Public Speaking and Debate Class

Service Description

Boost your confidence and communication skills with our Beginner Public Speaking and Debate summer class! This class is designed for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students to introduce the basics of presentation and communication skills. Students will learn proper presentation techniques (volume, eye contact, body language). Students will write, create and present original presentations in a variety of genres including (but not limited to): Impromptu, Pet Peeve, and How-to. We will also explore debate skills and techniques through a Modified Public Forum format.

Cancellation Policy

Discount prices are available to students that are enrolled in two or more classes in the summer. Payments should be made within 24 hours of registration. Due to advance preparation, all payments are nonrefundable.
